Who am I? |
|
|
Hello, my name is Travis Leffel. I am a Junior at Michigan State University, where I received a Tuition Grant Scholarship to study Computer Engineering. I also participated in the Professorial Assistantship program from freshman year, where I was a member of a research team investigating the memristor properties of copper oxide (CuO) nanowire based materials. I am currently pursuing my degree as a member of the Honors College. I have a strong work ethic and I strive to achieve success in everything that I do. My Objective is to obtain an internship
with a highly talented engineering team that is designing best in class
products. My goal is to continue to learn and push my personal boundaries in
a way that is beneficial to my employer and my department. |

Michigan State University: Professorial
Assistant 2014 / 2015 freshman year, Michigan State
University Member of a research team investigating the memristor properties of copper oxide (CuO) based nanowires and carbon nano-tube materials for use in nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS). The team is led by Dr. Lixin Dong, Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at MSU. My task is to automate the I-V curve measurements of the material. I am using National Instruments LabVIEW to configure the measurement, collect the data, and process the results for graphical display. Here is a screenshot of my software in action. City of
